I think in plans; sometimes I dream them. I spatially map my world as I live it & my world moves to music. It has rhythm.
This is my place for plans, sketches, images, stories, music, both from my personal past and my personal now.
Coffee table books.
Plus kiddie keyboard.
Plus library fines mounting up.
And a coffee table, possibly?
St. Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne
My favourite Melbourne cathedral, only two to choose from. (In reality I like both, this one happens to be in East Melbourne so it’s in my set of photos I took last year wandering around between hospitals.)
Bluestone is the colour of Melbourne. Or maybe red terracotta tiled roofs, depending on who you talk to. Or going by this photo, off white to yellow render.
Fire Station, East Melbourne
One day when I was wandering by, the firemen were practising.
I like the sliver of fake house they’ve built in front of a massive concrete wall and that ladder tower to nowhere.
The Legend of Fire, Harold Freedman
Mural on fire station, East Melbourne
Last year while I was wandering about between appointments I seem to have taken snaps of my favourite things in East Melbourne & Parkville.
My favourite mural
My first go at an HTML5 animation. I thought I’d have to learn a lot of pesky code, so I’ve been getting all angsty but using Adobe Edge, it’s a cinch.
Yes, I know I’ve done this one before in Flash. It’s a test.
Social Network Clock
Time-based visualization of social network activity based on bitly data, by retronator:
Today’s random idea to create a webpage: the Social Network Clock!
A few weeks back bitly posted some interesting data that hints when people use different social networks. Today’s stupid idea for not playing Minecraft all day involved creating a CSS3 time display webpage that overlays current time over the graphs published by bitly.
Tumblr is apparently the party network for evenings and weekends so cheers to you guys!
Tumblr wins for no social life, all at home alone on a Saturday night.
